The ANT+ signalling protocol was developed to make it easier for people to use accessories from Manufacturer X with products from Manufacturer Y . It is an interoperable platform which removes the need to stick to just one brand. For example, if you have a Garmin FR60 watch, it will work with any NON-GARMIN ANT+ accessories. We have tested all the products listed on this page with all relevant Garmin products. They will also work with the Timex Global Trainer range and MANY MANY more.

There are now many smartphones which have incorporated the ANT+ chipset in to their mobile devices. Leading the way with ANT+ chips in smartphones is Sony Ericsson Xperia range. Which APP ? When we test the ANT+ hardware with an ANT+ Smartphone - we use the ENDOMONDO App. There are many other APPS available, but we can't test them all, sorry.
